Sr. Product Manager, AI

Boston, MA
Full Time
Product Management
Experienced
LOCATION: We are focused on identifying local candidates who can work a hybrid office-based position (Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday) in the team’s Boston, Massachusetts location. This role is not eligible for remote work or relocation.

About the Role
Validity is looking for a Senior AI Product Manager to drive the strategy and roadmap for AI-powered capabilities across Validity's products. You'll lead high-impact initiatives from discovery through launch, spending significant time prototyping with LLMs and agents before committing to production builds. This isn't a "write specs and hand them off" role - you'll be in the weeds with agents, prompts, and LLM integrations, writing code to validate concepts and inform technical decisions.

We’re open to hiring at the Principal level for more experienced candidates.
The Senior Product Manager must have the ability to thrive in an incredibly fast-paced environment and have a strong emphasis on product execution.

About the Team

The Engage team at Validity is building Engage, an agentic AI platform that acts as a strategic partner across the full email marketing lifecycle—from campaign brief through pre-send QA, send, and post-send performance monitoring. Engage layers AI reasoning on top of Validity’s proprietary email data network and email tooling, turning what marketers do manually today into an intelligent system that works alongside them. We own the full lifecycle, from early research and prototyping through production delivery, and we start by proving concepts with working code before committing to production builds.

Position Duties and Responsibilities
  • Define and drive the AI product roadmap, identifying the highest-leverage opportunities across Validity's portfolio
  • Lead product discovery and strategy for major AI initiatives, from concept through launch
  • Build functional prototypes using LLMs, agents, and AI tools to validate concepts and technical feasibility
  • Design and reason about multi-agent systems—how agents are scoped, orchestrated, and evaluated—in partnership with engineering
  • Partner with engineering leadership to translate prototypes into production-ready solutions, managing scope and tradeoffs
  • Own prioritization decisions, balancing customer impact, technical complexity, and strategic value
  • Conduct customer research and analyze usage patterns to measure success and identify opportunities
  • Contribute to the team's AI/LLM product development expertise
  • Stay current on AI/LLM developments and identify opportunities to leverage new capabilities
Required Experience, Skills, and Education
  • 7+ years of product management experience, with at least one year of building AI/ML or LLM-powered products
  • Hands-on experience building with LLMs and agents (i.e. you've prototyped and shipped AI features, not just managed them from a distance)
  • Strong product analytics instincts. You answer your own questions, design experiments, and know which metrics matter.
  • You can work with code. You don't need to be able to write production-quality code, but you do need to create and iterate on functional prototypes in Python or TypeScript that prove out concepts and inform engineering discussions.
  • Deep familiarity with AI coding tools like Cursor, Claude Code, or similar (these are part of how you work)
  • Track record of defining product strategy, driving roadmaps, and shipping successful features in B2B SaaS
  • Ability to influence across teams and levels without direct authority
Preferred Experience, Skills, and Education
  • Experience shipping product experiences powered by machine learning or LLMs to production
  • Experience partnering with engineering teams to design agentic systems
What Success Looks Like
  • Within 90 days: You've shipped your first prototype demonstrating a meaningful AI capability and have a clear point of view on roadmap priorities
  • Within 6 months: You've launched AI features that customers are actively using and have established a roadmap that the team and stakeholders believe in
  • Within 12 months: You've delivered major AI initiatives that move the needle for Validity and have become a trusted technical product voice the team and stakeholders rely on

Base salary range $175,000 - $210,000, plus benefits, bonus opportunities and stock options. Final salary may vary depending on skills, location, and/or experience.

Voluntary Self-Identification of Disability
Voluntary Self-Identification of Disability Form CC-305
OMB Control Number 1250-0005
Expires 05/31/2026
Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
